While traditional, square mud tanks have corners where solids can settle, round bottom mud tanks enhance agitation and prevent unnecessary settling. Mud savings will vary based on mud type and cost, but NRG round bottom tanks enhance mud agitation and greatly improve cleanout maintenance. Round bottom tanks allow more efficient agitation, streamlining rig support costs and reducing the need for additional manpower. NRG round bottom tanks are also easier to clean than traditional, square-bottom designs, so operators spend less time pressure-washing and removing settled solids in confined areas.
